Book Clubs provide a fantastic opportunity to meet people who love to read and think and who love to talk about what they read and think. They typically happen in someone’s living room with a side of gossip, some wine, stale finger sandwiches, and over-tired toddlers.
Well, we’ve entered the new millennium, folks. This ain’t your Mama’s book club.
Twitter chats are the bomb. They are inclusively exclusive. Everyone is welcomed and is welcome to contribute, lurk, listen, & learn. I’ve gleaned so much; friends, insights, and advantages from #blogchat, #leadershipchat, and #CMChat to name just a few (there are hundreds!)
The first book we will be discussing is Guy Kawasaki‘s Enchantment. This is a wonderful read. Guy graciously expands on how to maintain the highest ethical standards whilst influencing others using the pillars of enchantment: trustworthiness, likeability, and a first-rate offering.
We’ll talk about what you learned, what you liked, and the ways that you’re applying the insights and principles to your life, and how you are enchanting and enchanted.
If you have any questions about Twitter chats, tweet at Peg or me! You can learn more here at Peg’s blog!
See you this Sunday June 12 at 10pm EST!
